Talk of Patriots undefeated season gone after one game

Would the Patriots go 16-0 this season? They didn’t even go 1-0.

The Patriots were upset by the Chiefs Thursday at Gillette Stadium as Cheap China NFL Jerseys Kansas City got a record performance from rookie running back Kareem Hunt in a 42-27 victory.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was not sharp from the start, overthrowing a wide-open receiver on his first pass and finishing 16 of 36 for 267 yards and zero touchdowns.

New England also incurred more injuries as linebacker Dont’a Hightower left Thursday’s loss with a knee injury and wide receiver Danny Amendola left to be evaluated for a concussion and did not return.

All that talk of an undefeated season for the Cheap Custom Baseball Jerseys Patriots went out the door after one game and they clearly aren’t as invincible as many thought they’d be this season.

“Let’s see where we go this week,” Jackson said. “Let’s see what we are doing this week. Let’s find out. You are saying that he is starting this week. We don’t know that. Let’s see where we are this week and go from there.”

A change with Britt this soon into a big contract would be significant.

Against Pittsburgh, Britt had the second-most snaps among receivers, at 52 (behind Corey Coleman’s 53), and he finished Sunday’s game with one catch for 13 yards. Ricardo Louis was third among receivers, with 16. Duke Johnson had 50 snaps, all of them at receiver. Jackson said Johnson would remain at running back, and that plan with him was for that game.

Aaron Judge, Home Run Derby champ, was a star high school football tight end

Before Aaron Judge was hitting home runs for the New York Yankees — and before his Home Run Derby victory Monday night — he was a highly touted tight end recruit in high school. Judge, who graduated from Linden High School in California in 2010, played baseball, football, and basketball before heading to Fresno State to play baseball.

He’s now obviously doing quite well with his baseball career — just over the weekend, he blasted this 495-foot home run, the longest of the MLB season so far.

Not much! The Cardinals are playing under their record, and while you don’t want to necessarily chop their season up into little itty bits, between their expected records being good enough for hypothetical NL Central supremacy and their 47-42 showing following their poor 3-9 start, they should feel pretty good about next year. Lance Lynn will leave a hole in the rotation, but that’s not an impossible problem to solve, and the same goes for the open slot in their pen should they lose Oh.

The Cardinals probably shouldn’t give up on 2017 by selling off everything that isn’t nailed down, but moving Lance Lynn in the right deal would make a lot of sense — the right deal, in this writer’s opinion, would be one that helps set them up for 2018 with a trade return instead of making them jump through the new qualifying offer hoops that will be active this offseason.

The Cardinals don’t need to rebuild. Retooling now isn’t a bad plan, though, especially if they can do so without sacrificing much as far as their chances at the postseason in 2017 go. Moving Lynn would weaken the rotation, especially with Marco Gonzales recently dealt to the Mariners, but it’s also possible he brings Cheap Custom Baseball Jerseys back a return that makes them a real threat in 2018 again, too. It’s at least Wholesale Jerseys All worth exploring.
